VIDEO: Greene County teacher spends his snow day doing ‘neighborly thing’

A second-grade teacher at Greeneview Schools used his snow day to clear the sidewalks for most of his neighborhood in Jamestown after 6 inches of snow fell overnight.

Sam Hook has been putting his snow blower to good use in his community for years, and takes no payment.

“I have the time and I have the equipment so may as well do the neighborly thing,” he said.
